This has been a frustrating few weeks.
Our power keeps going out every 3 days! Fortunately, it’s not STAYING out, but ugh :hair:
Anyway, the Squares 4 Survivors is going very well!
Yesterday, a fellow Central Louisianian sent 107 squares!
Isn’t that awesome?!!!!
I’ve been working on inventory for the craft show. I’ve been making face cloths this week. I really like working with cotton yarn.
I’m still working on my brochures, but I’m fairly certain it’s ready for printing.
I picked up my Dad’s ghan a few days ago, but I don’t think I got one stitch done on it. I’m almost finished with it, but I keep finding other things to work on.
Yesterday, I headed to Walmart to get fabric for my daughters’ costumes. They will be fairies this year! 🙂
I’m really looking forward to making their costumes. I made them princess costumes last year, complete with homemade wands (dowels beautifully decorated with flowers and ribbons – if I do say so myself ;-))
My son said he wants to be The Grim Reaper. Uh – no!
I’m one of those people who don’t like the Grim/Gore/Blood of Halloween. Truth be told, I just really like having an excuse to sew costumes! oh, and the Candy Corn! Yummy yummy Candy Corn!
I’m going to crochet the girls’ trick or treat bags to match their costumes. They’re going to be small, so they don’t weigh them down while flying! 😆
